This year we had three very successful Kids Markets with 8 vendors all under the age of 14! Our Kids Markets are a great way for young entrepreneurs to get their feet wet in the Farmers Market. Three times a year we open up the market for this great event. This years markets were on June 18th, July 16th, and August 20th from 9am-12pm. This year we were also blessed to have puppeteers, Brian Higgins and Skylar Gingrich, from the North Central Regional Library providing entertainment on August 20th.
This is a very popular event, both for the kids and for the market! If you want to get involved keep checking back for an updated 2017 application to be in the kids market or volunteer. Space is limited so if you, or a kid you know would be a great candidate you won’t want to wait to get going on your items for market or the updated application once it’s released.
